My new/old sewing machine

Hello my lovelies, sorry it's been a little while since I've popped by The Pea Pod but I truly haven't done anything of interest lately to tell you about. I've mainly been working on my little online shop which I can now reveal is called Drop The Weasel , but more about that later.

Yesterday I had a good old sort out in my work room and so today with the decks cleared I thought I would have a little play with my new/old singer sewing machine. My wonderfully thoughtful mum bought it for me from a car boot sale for a fiver and it's in pristine condition I'm so chuffed with it. Whoever owned it before me really looked after it and apparently used it all the time.

I'll need to teach myself how to use it but I'm sure it can't be that hard - can it? If anyone has any tips I would be most grateful to hear them - please!

From what I've done so far it seems pretty straight forward but then I've not tried anything too technical. I'll soon be rattling off bespoke garments for my friends and family :)

The machine came with all the original bits and bobs too, including the instruction book, very handy indeed.

Just look at this box of attachments the box is as good as new. Even if I don't master the craft of machine sewing I would be happy just to have this machine to look at it's beautiful.

I love it! I tried to teach myself to sew last summer. It didn't go so well. :o)

I received my package late last week. I love all the sweet items you sent and will write a post about them soon. Meanwhile, thank you so much for your generosity. I adore the little clothes pin girl. She is smiling at me as I write this.
