Fabric covered note books

This weekend is being spent finishing off little projects for the Drop the Weasel stall at Monmouth show this coming Thursday.

I've been covering sketch books with fabric this morning. They are nearly done, I just need to add strings or ribbons to allow them to be tied shut.

I always use books with good quality paper in them and so sketch books work well for this.

I think small print fabrics look lovely for this project so I've been collecting little pieces for months. I particularly love Paisley pattered fabric but it seems to be quite hard to find.
