New blanket brooches for the Drop the Weasel shop...coming soon.

Hi there!

It's been a really busy couple of weeks. I've been designing and making new products for the Drop the Weasel shop and doing some research into business branding (more about that at a later point).

My plan for this week is to add the finishing touches to my new Drop the Weasel products, take pictures of them and list them for sale over at my Etsy shop and my Bigcartel shop so watch this space.

 

A while ago I made four hand sewn blanket brooches as a trial run and mainly just to see if I was any good at embroidery, to my shock these were snapped up super quick and have been really popular on Pinterest too, so I kind of guess they were a hit! (Which is always lovely. Thanks Pinterest pinners x)

 

 I thought it was high time I made a few more so this week I set to work a new collection of eight that are kind of the same design but with the odd little difference from one to the other making them all unique.

 

What do you think? Do they work?

 

I have to add the brooch pins to finish them off, that will be a job for Tuesday as my day job is going to get in the way until then...boo!!
