Kitty cat update

The sweet little kitty cats are settling in nicely and now consider this to be their home, in fact they have taken over this home!. They now have names too, the black one is Sidney and the grey & white one is just known as Sweetie (she was named Maggie and then Biddy but those names didn't seem to suit her so it's just Sweetie)

Sidney has been back and forward to the vets from day one as he has a constant snot globule at his nose...nice! This hasn't got him down at all though, he's just like the likable snotty kid at school and is so cute it's unbelievable.

The other day he trod in the paint tray and then tried to wash himself resulting in paint all over his face. I think if he had kept on going he would have looked like a skunk.

You can just make out the last bit of paint above his eye. I ended up getting the scissors out and giving him a little trim to get rid of it.

Sweetie is a little shy with other people but this week she went off to have her baby preventing op and came back a different cat...she's now really affectionate and wants lots of attention.

There's been lots of play fighting going on (mainly at 3:00 am)

And this morning we had a little accident where the mantel shelf collapsed resulting in broken glass and china.

Although it looks as though Sidney is in the frame for the crime it was in fact Sweetie who was the perp..very CSI

That's a sorry face if ever I saw one.

  10. Hi Briony, they are a little bit naughty but that just adds to their charm doesn't it.

Sid has a virus that they think he will carry with him always, we've tried most things to get rid of the snotty nose but it hasn't worked. He seems happy enough though and doesn't mind me wiping his nose for him and chasing him around when he sneezes...I think he thinks it's a little game! They get to go outside for the first time at the weekend, I just hope they come back. x
