I Love Moo

This morning a new delivery of Moo business cards arrived. Moo are running a promotion at the moment, you can order 50 free...yes free! Facebook cards. It's so easy to place an order, you just need to go to the Moo website, log into your personal or business Facebook account and all your Facebook pictures are displayed as business cards. You then choose which ones you want to use and confirm the text that you require on the reverse and place your order.

I've not read all the terms and conditions so I'm not sure if you need to place another order to qualify for free Facebook cards. When I ordered mine I was also ordering regular business cards too.

I'm really pleased with my new Moo's they look great.

Drop the Weasel Facebook page giveaways

It's giveaway time over at the Drop the Weasel Facebook page. Each month I giveaway a little something to a Facebook page 'Liker'. As I've been away from blogging and Facebooking for a little while I now have some catching up to do!!!

So here are the prizes on offer for the MARCH, APRIL & MAY giveaways.

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning any of these prizes then pop over to the Drop the Weasel Facebook page here. 'Like' the page and just leave me a little comment to say which prize or prizes you would like your name to be entered into the hat for. The winners names will be announced on Monday 27th May....good luck! Oh, and I'm happy to send the prizes anywhere in the world so go on and have a go.

For March I'm giving away a little Cactus work of art which has been made using shrinking plastic. It's a little sculpture and the good thing is they don't need to be watered!!

There are 3 chances to win a prize for the April giveaway. I've made 3 brooches using shrinking plastic again. I'll also throw a few extra little bits in with each brooch.

And the prize for May is a fabric covered notebook and 5 Drop the Weasel greetings cards...you always need a greetings card and these are blank so they can be used for almost any occasion.

The Art Shop and Gallery at Abergavenny

Gosh it's been a while since I've popped by The Pea Pod to write a post. I've been having a little break from Drop the Weasel and blogging due to the fact that I've started a new job and I've been settling into that and getting used to my new shift pattern and concentrating on learning my new role. I've been in my new role for a few months now and so I'm back with a few catch up post for you.

So what's been going on around here lately? Well, a couple of weeks ago I took a trip over the Welsh border and headed to Abergavenny. It's only a short drive from my home but I haven't been there for ages. The town has a wonderful art shop and gallery that I was really keen to visit.

I wasn't disappointed, the gallery is above the shop and is someones home with artworks displayed in the kitchen and even the loo!

Afterwards I treated myself to a bite to eat at the Angel Hotel....mmmm lovely!!

If you want to find out more then take a little look at The Art Shop's website here and The Angel Hotel's website here. The Angel Hotel has a brilliant set of photos of what they offer.
