Our Adventure at Clearwell Caves
Just before Christmas my sister, my two nieces and myself popped to Clearwell Caves for a magical Christmas adventure. Clearwell Caves is the site of ancient iron ore mines that have been mined for the past 4,000 years and are still today. Each year the caves are decorated for Christmas and this year the theme was the twelve days of Christmas.
Deep inside the caves we found a fabulous Christmas market, needless to say cash changed hands...
Edging the paths were bright gifts just waiting to be ripped open. It was great fun trying to find our names, I'm glad to say we must have all been good this year as we all found one.
