Christmas craft stall update

Last weekend and the weekend before I was busy trying to sell my creations and vintage bits and bobs on my stall at a local arts/craft centre in town.As with other years, this year I met some lovely people both customers and other stall holders and I think everyone had a good time, even though it was bitterly cold!

Each time I do a stall I always have a last minute mini panic that I haven't got enough stuff to carry me over 4 days so this year I had given it all a little more forethought and bought a few quirky or collectable items to fill any gaps.

I tried to make the stall as colourful and attractive as possible.

This year my best seller was my felt birds, they were flying (no pun intended) off the stall.

I only made a few lavender filled felt faces but they sold well too.

Milk maid egg cosies

Note books covered with vintage and Liberty print fabric.

Lavender filled bunnies.

Hand painted wooden plaques.

A hand painted softies.

This stall is that of a local company called Dollyday - Dream, they sell some lovely ceramics and home ware items.

This stall, Granny's Attic, was selling hand made personalised baubles and table decorations and seemed to be doing well.

This is the lovely Deborah who had a stall selling hand made candles, cake making kits and small gifts.

I loved this candle, a great choice of cup and saucer...

Sock cup cakes - brilliant!

This stall had some great gifts too.

Of course a bacon roll or two had to be purchased!!

Opposite my stall was Lavender and Lace, a florists run by Sonya Tyrell who managed to keep everyone's spirits up with her infectious laugh and friendly banter.

Sonya was selling some lovely mistletoe with masses of berries on each stem.

Her wreathes were selling really well and she very kindly sold one to me at a reduced rate - thanks Sonya you'll be glad to know it looks fab on my front door.

The stall next to mine was a vegetable stall selling produce grown on site at the centre. so no air miles involved and all organic.

With the fruit picked earlier in the year the kitchen staff had made their own jam which looked very festive with polka dot lids.

  1. Wow, you have some amazing creations, looks like there were lots of lovely stalls. Pity I don't have any nice fairs/ crafts/ or centres near me here, but I'm too rural for that.

    All things nice...
