The garden is looking a little overgrown!

When I step out of my back door this is what's greeting me at the moment...a colourful mini jungle.

Earlier in the year it looked like this but with a little sunshine and a lot of rain it becomes what I have now.

But don't get me wrong, I quite like it, as it does what it feels it wants to do and I'm able to go out and gather flowers for the house. The only thing that bugs me is the invasion of bind weed  that is on a mission to strangle everything.

For next year the garden is going to be the big project with money put aside for paths and properly constructed beds.

  3. I love this kind of garden, full of flowers and plants doing their own thing instead of being 'tamed' to fit - but I realise that it's a fine line between beautiful jungle and impossible tangle!!
