I would just like to say a huge 'thank you' to you all for dropping by The Pea Pod during 2011 to read my ramblings and to take the time out to leave your lovely, kind comments. I love to hear from you all and still get excited when a new follower comes along!

The tale end of 2011 was very stressful and tiring for me but over the Christmas period I've stayed in bed until mid morning, I've found the time to read a book, shared some quality family time and started a new exercise plan (which I'm loving). I'm also glad to say that this year I didn't stuff myself silly with food and I feel much better for it.

So going into 2012 I'm feeling rested and optimistic that this year is going to be a good one. I'm not going to make any new year resolutions but I do have things that I want to do. I need to get out of the house more and see daylight once in a while...it does seem as though it's all work and no play sometimes, so watch this space and we'll see what happens.

Here's wishing you all a very, very happy new year. I love you all xxx

  1. It's always good to recharge the batteries. I have to make sure I get some daylight too in the winter, otherwise a black cloud descends over me!

  4. Here is to 2012. I hope it will be a happy and healthy year for us all. I am 40 in September and I intend to be fit and forty not fat and forty. This is going to be my year, a happy one xx

Look forward to seeing some more of your work. The birds never got given, they seem to somehow managed to 'hang' around Poppy Cottage. See the will power of a slug although my pink one is heading for Josie's room in London.

    xx
