Felt circles transformed into pins.

Next week I'll be selling my work for the first time at Monmouth show. It's quite a big country show with all kinds of animals and country activities for all to have a go at. It pulls quite a crowd.

So in anticipation of the show I've been working hard on finishing stuff , starting new projects and trying to find interesting display bowl etc for the stand.

One of the projects I finished this weekend was a set of felt brooches. I embroidered the circles a while ago and then didn't really have a plan for them. I blogged about them at the time and asked for suggestions as to what I should do with them and someone came up with the good idea of making them into pins, so here they are.

I've added little hand written Drop the Weasel paper labels too.

I'm really pleased with these, they look great on a coat lapel, I just hope others will like them and want to buy them!

  2. They look really lovely. And good luck with the show. Fingers crossed for the weather. Tim is taking the Shepherds hut to the Melplash Show on Thursday so I am sat here making and printing out a variety of paper work, prices etc.. I have to sit and work out how to upload stuff onto the Web site. A month ago there seemed to be so much time........

Anyhow, good luck next week. I'll be thinking of you. Pictures of your stand please xx
